Get the help you need to build your big ideas

(in the Territory)

We’re helping the Territory’s entrepreneurs to build out the software and workflow support they need to grow.

Websites that Work

A website done quickly and within a reasonable budget using WordPress so have control and ownership over it (not some locked-in subscription service.)

Web & Mobile Apps

Custom software to build out your big ideas online, whether it’s on a web interface or a mobile phone. SAAS doesn’t have to be a nightmare to build.

Digital Presence Support

We hear you loud and clear. Social media, SEO and all that article writing is not something you want to do yourself. It’s ok. We’ve got some people who can help.

Awesome partnerships

We work alongside others that do great work in Darwin and the Northern Territory. Which means that get to form really useful partnerships that bring in work for us, but allow us to collaborate with others as well. We know our lane - and we stay in it. Useful websites, apps that make sense and content that gets results.

A very Territory approach

The market here is too small to be all exclusive and snobby about things. And you can’t just bad-mouth others to get ahead. We play nicely with others in the market, because that’s the Territory way.

Connected to others

There’s stuff we do - and a lot of stuff we don’t. But we generally know people who can help with that stuff that we don’t do. Which means we don’t say no very much - rather we say, “we know someone who might be able to help.”

After being told, “no we don’t do that here” enough times, I decided it was time to change that.

This millennium is one of technological change and growth. If the “Gigabit Territory” is going to succeed, we need people willing to create that success.

Community Event Website

The brief

A volunteer group needed a website within 48 hours to launch with their inaugural event. So the pressure was on. They would need to be able to easily update this website themselves without having to understand web design.

The idea

Since the time was super-short and the skill-levels were low in the group, we asked what technology they did understand. It turns out that they had a Canva Pro account - bingo! Canva let’s you build and publish a website with your own domain name if you have a Pro account.

The result

We managed to move some things aside to help them out with their new website within 24 hours. Not enough to get the site indexed in Google, but definitely in time for them to showcase at their launch. Oh - and they loved it!

Accountant Website Rebuild

The brief

An accountant came to us with their website that had been built using a system and template that could no longer be updated and supported (Jooma 3.5) though she wanted exactly the same site as it had worked so well.

The idea

We had worked with Joomla a long time ago but practically no one works with it anymore, so we suggested that we move her over to a WordPress version of the website using a page building tool that is not likely to go away any time soon - plus WordPress itself has remained updateable for well over 20 years now.

The result

The new site looks almost identical to the old site now, but is working on an updateable and upgradeable platform that will be supported well into the future.

Mobile App for a Cafe

The brief

A growing cafe business needed a way to increase their capacity to take orders without having to add additional staff at the point of order - especially for the short periods of peak demand before work and during morning tea period.

The idea

To create a simple phone app that allows customers to place orders for their coffees, pay for them on the app and accumulate and redeem points for their loyalty. The ability to be able to add food and other drink items to the app would be required as well.

The result

The app was completed in around 7 weeks after a few changes to the layout and some issues with Apple (which everyone seems to have) but it’s now online and being used by locals who are loving the ability to just walk in and have their coffee sitting there waiting for them!

Business Events Web App

The brief

To build a place for travel agents and executive assistants to get estimates on everything around destination business events from travel and accommodation to entertainment, speakers and venues.

The idea

This one is an ongoing project starting with a static database of providers with whom the business has relationships already. This will then have the capacity to later add more destinations and providers - along with the ability to add automated feeds with pricing and availability.

The result

This one is currently underway, but it’s shaping up to be quite a game-changer for destination business event travel and bookings.

A Coach’s Social Media

The brief

There are only 24 hours in a day. And that’s the problem that this mindset coach has. Plenty of clients, but no time to create online content to ensure that her pipeline of new clients to replace old ones who graduate from her program.

The idea

We suggested that we create a series of evergreen posts that fill three posts a day for 3 months, and then repeat those for a year. This way she can add extra posts when she has them, but is under no pressure to keep producing new content all the time.

The result

Surprisingly, she created more content after we removed the pressure to do it every week. While we took care of the feed and general content, she added the personal stuff herself in stories, Reels and live video.

SEO for a Medical Centre

The brief

A medical centre was not found anywhere near the top of Google for their area. Additionally, their allied health clinic wasn’t even showing on Google at all. Their websites were on Squarespace.

The idea

A bit of research on what made their competitors perform better with an added touch of artificial intelligence helped us to get them a far better rating. Meanwhile, we worked directly with Squarespace to sort out why their other site wasn’t being found.

The result

From one search term at #1 on Google to 17 of them. And 12 search terms the top 5 to 53. A pretty big turnaround by following some simply and well-tested techniques to get them found.
